December 24, 2007
We put all sorts of baby items in Brittany’s parents’ stockings to announce the expecting baby. We think it’s a great way to surprise them.
December 25
Mom thought all the baby lotion, powder, and shampoo was for her. Then the pacifier and an explanation from dad clued her in and the screams of joy came.

Things they teach you in birth class
Before you go to the hospital your contractions should be equally 5 minutes apart and you should not be able to talk through the contractions. Breathing is very important

The baby’s due date is today. Still no baby. The doctor even said that he could feel the baby’s ear and that she was 3 cm dilated now.
August 8
Curtis is very excited to go wakeboarding tomorrow. He’s been talking about it all day. He has only been a couple times this year and can’t wait.

We finally find a home in Murray and move out of Curt’s parents’. How long did we tell them we would be there? Note to self: Don’t try moving with a newborn.

We went to a ward Halloween party and Alexia dressed up as a horse. Everyone kept asking us what she was.
November 2
Alexia was blessed today. Brittany’s brother, Derek, was able to be there from Arizona.

In response to August 12th’s entry it looks like a little while longer.
December 9
Lexi got her ears pierced. Curtis said afterwards, “I made sure I wasn’t there, they sure are cute.” With her losing her hair it really helps her look like a darling little girl.
December 20
Time to update family and friends with Diary of a Burk…Until next year
